ASPPH highlights the Viz-a-lyzer

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) highlighted CI:Now’s Viz-a-lyzer tool, launched in late September 2017.

Rivard Report: Local Nonprofit Builds Free Data Tool for Community Insight

The Rivard Report‘s Emily Royall, Data Director, wrote an article on CI:Now’s new Viz-a-lyzer and its role in helping San Antonians use data to make better decisions.

She also noted the recent election of the Alamo Regional Data Alliance‘s (ARDA’s) inaugural Steering Committee. ARDA is a key vehicle for local collaboration to improve our community’s data literacy, access to trustworthy data, and data use.

CI:Now-SA2020 partnership mentioned in RSA publication on inclusive growth

The RSA’s (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) Commission on Inclusive Growth featured SA2020 in its 2017 publication Inclusive Growth: Putting Principles Into Practice, available to read online for free. The case study highlighted SA2020’s partnership with CI:Now to  gather and communicate trustworthy data to gauge San Antonio’s progress on our targeted community indicators.

CI:Now-EPN partnership mentioned in NAS health equity book

CI:Now’s data intermediary work for San Antonio’s Eastside Promise Neighborhood was included in the National Academy of Science’s new book Communities in Action: Pathways to Health Equity.  The book is available as a free pdf download. Much more detail about the data support CI:Now has provided to Eastside Promise can be found here.

CI:Now’s role in ARDA featured in NNIP data & tech training guide

The National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership included CI:Now and the Alamo Regional Data Alliance (ARDA) in its new guide Empowering the Public and Nonprofit Sectors with Data and Technology.  More information about ARDA’s data and tech training agenda can be found in its draft Community Strategy.
