Laura McKieran elected to NNIP Executive Committee

Laura McKieran, CI:Now Director, has been elected to a three-year term on the Executive Committee of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP). NNIP is “a collaboration of the Urban Institute and local partners in 30 cities to further the development and use of neighborhood-level information systems for community building and local decision-making.”

SA wins spot as Learning City in Civic Tech & Data Collaborative

Represented by  CI:Now, the City of San Antonio, and Code for SA, San Antonio has been selected as a Learning City in the Civic Tech & Data Collaborative (CTDC). CTDC – a partnership among the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership, Living Cities, and Code for America – is exploring how civic technologists, data specialists, and local government leaders can work more effectively together to address pressing problems affecting low-income residents.
