CI:Now has been awarded a $100,000 grant from the John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation of the San Antonio Area Foundation to provide “backbone” staffing to the Alamo Regional Data Alliance throughout 2018. Much of CI:Now’s work will consist of staffing and facilitating the Steering Committee and Workgroups to be formed, assisting the Steering Committee in developing and launching a sustainability plan, communications and community engagement, organizing an annual convening, staffing the Steering Committee’s annual election, and overall coordination and logistical support. Thirty percent of the budget is allocated to the support of specific projects aligned with the Community Strategy.
