SADC Digital Investment Data Tool

Digital inclusion means that every household has access to reliable internet, affordable service, appropriate devices, and the digital skills needed to thrive. Affordable and reliable internet is foundational to reducing systemic inequities and unlocking opportunities for economic development and mobility.

The SA Digital Connects (SADC) initiative is public-private-community partnership working to bridge the digital divide in San Antonio and Bexar County. As the backbone organization for the region’s Digital Investment Plan, SADC is focused on expanding broadband access, improving affordability, and building digital literacy.

To help track progress toward these goals, SADC partnered with CINow to develop an interactive data tool that monitors digital inclusion across our region.

The SADC Digital Investment Data Tool Helps:

Visualize impact through key indicators:

  • Broadband access
  • Affordability
  • Digital literacy
  • Device ownership
  • Workforce, economic, and quality of life outcomes

Explore data by ZIP code and census tract to:

  • Identify areas where efforts are making a difference and where more support is needed
  • Guide decisions with real-time, place-based data
  • Understand trends and gaps in access, skills, and resources

Make a difference by:

  • Empowering policymakers, community organizations, and residents to make informed, data-driven decisions that support digital equity
  • Engaging the broader community in understanding and addressing digital inequities across Bexar County
