The Health Collaborative released the 2019 Bexar County & Atascosa County Community Health Needs Assessment Report and the inclusion of Atascosa County was new that year. The needs assessment is again based on the Bay Area Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII) framework with strong emphasis on social determinants of health. It includes hundreds of indicators visualized as charts and maps, disaggregated wherever possible by race/ethnicity, age group, sex, and zip code or county sector. As in 2013, CINow prepared the quantitative data, charts and maps, and report narrative, while The Health Collaborative ensured that the findings included community voice.
