What data are you using from CINow?
Demographic, chronic illness, and needs (housing, income, etc…). Mostly use Bexar Data Dive but will use other tools if I need a more granular view.
How are you using data from CINow?
To evaluate our service delivery models, collect data for program design, and validate our efforts when applying for funding.
What effect has using CINow data had?
Primarily, it saves us tons of work. I don’t know if I can quantify it because I have been using it for so long that I don’t know what the alternative is anymore. If I were going to guess, I would say at least 8-10 hours per grant application.
Have you used Bexar Data Dive since our focus group?
Yes, I use it about once a month.
If so, what did you use it for, and how did it help?
I use it to build strategies for our effort to address barriers to health, to understand the community better, and to write funding applications.
Have you told others about Bexar Data Dive?
Yes, we actually discussed it at the SCLI fellowship.
