My primary use of Bexar Data Dive is for quick reference. It serves as a go-to resource for double-checking our work on various data requests (from local communities: ISDs, COSA, or Bexar County). The interactive portal featuring major indicators in demographic, education, economic, and other topics is particularly useful.

I also particularly appreciate the inclusion of Margin of Errors (MOEs) in the graphs. This feature saves me considerable time that would otherwise be spent looking up MOEs from ACS tables.

Another thing that’s worth mentioning is the visualization in the trend chart and comparison chart is inspiring. It has inspired us (researchers at the state demographic center) to explore providing similar visualization tools at a larger geographic scale beyond Bexar County or the City of San Antonio.
