Viz-a-lyzer updates: child abuse, family violence, births, hospitalizations

The August 2021 release of the Viz-a-lyzer, which shows trended data for area ZIP codes, Bexar Co., and Texas, updates the data for a number of frequently-used indicators:

  • Child Abuse and Neglect (Initial Intakes, Confirmed Victims, Revictimized)
  • Family Violence (Incident Rate)
  • Births (Teen Birth Rate, Late or No Prenatal Care)
  • Asthma Hospitalization (Discharge rate by age group)
  • Diabetes Hospitalization (Discharge rate by age group for adults)
  • Hypertension Hospitalization (Discharge rate by age group)
  • Injury Hospitalization (Discharge rate by age group)
  • Mental Health Hospitalization (Discharge rate by age group)

This release also corrects two errors in populations percentage: (1) population under 5 years (2014), and (2) population 65 years and older (2016)
