The City of San Antonio’s Office of Equity has released its first-ever racial equity report, developed by CI:Now in close collaboration with Office of Equity staff. The report, which includes about 25 indicators, disaggregates and highlights inequities by race/ethnicity for all available race/ethnicity groups, as well as sex and age group for many indicators. Summary tables in the Appendix allow the reader to see all indicators at a glance for each race/ethnicity group, including the margins of error critical to interpreting estimates for smaller groups. A wealth of images provided by the Office of Equity add richness and texture to the quantitative data. Visit COSA’s website to access the report and hear about the upcoming formal release.
